"Going Green" is more than just a fad. Eco friendly lifestyles, products and technologies are getting major press coverage on a daily basis. Case in point is the trend to Electric Cars, Hybrids and Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Hardly a day goes by where one auto maker or another doesn't announce a new model with new "Green" features. While the demand for alternative vehicles has been driven by high gasoline prices, there are other reasons for their importance. There is growing awareness around the globe of the inevitability and impact of Global Warming and so many of us feel an inherent responsibility to become part of the solution.
There are many areas in which we as individuals can contribute. We can conserve energy by using energy efficient appliances, turning the thermostat down to 60 degrees at night, installing low wattage light bulbs and insulating and our homes.
